I think Im comfortable where I am in life at the present moment. Things could always be better, but Im doing a helluva lot better other people are.
I started my training (which was something more like throwing me in the pit) for managing the account for HX Media. You know those little street boxes in the corners of the streets for HX Media and the NY Blade? I am reponsible for making sure 25000 HX magazines, and 17000 NY Blade newspapers get distributed in those boxes all over the 5 boroughs, as well as gay clubs/ events/ organizations every friday. Then creating weekly summaries, audit trails and reports, create the routes for the drivers, etc... The contacts at HX are so sweet! Theres steven,
Yep. So next time you pick up that fag mag on the street corner think of me. :-)
I start the Coney Island Photo Documentary class June 7. Im excited. I already know my theme im going to document. I've already started talking to people.
I've been really driven recenty (for reasons/ issues I will not disclose) to finish writing this monologue I started a while back about growing up in NYC, the juxstoposition of the true struggle that Native New Yorkers endure VS. the struggles that non natives (people who move to the city from other states) think they have but really dont. Lets not get into it for now. But anyway I started writing this monologue a while back in a solo performance class with a brilliant woman named Tara Clancy. Shes a writer/ actor/ comedienne who has mastered the "One Woman Show" If you dont know her you should. She will make you think twice about where you come from. (in all aspects of that phrase)
I need to email her.
Since Amanda and I started the Kick Your Ass Fitness Challenge (TM) I have lost 13 lbs total. Thats good! All my clothing is really starting to fit a lot looser. Yay!
Im 5 months shy of 20 and I have a 401K investment plan. Woohoo for looking foward to getting old!
