I want to wake up in a city that doesn't sleep.
My little town blues are melting away!
Everytime I listen to that song I feel so inspired and powerful! Like I can take on the world!
Unfortunatly, it also makes me want to move to seattle =P
People have been bugging me about that recently, so I thought I should clarify:
THe only things I have going for me in SF is a few freinds (literally like 4) and my new job.
In Palo alto I have the savs (which would be hard as hell to leave T_T)
In Sunnyvale my parents and some peeps I knew in high school.
In Seattle I have 2 friends. Thats it.
BUT! Its a grat city that j'adore completely! So much so that I am using francais in my lj post! I get excited just thinking about it. I'm thinking of moving there for a month or 2 this summer just for kicks. I could room with Adam (all you savs guys know him as my little techie buddy (and your buddy too!)) because he is stationed near there for the next three years =P
I would totally want to work at a coffee shop while I was there, and with inflated living rates here, I could expect that all the money I could save up between now and then would entirly cover the costs.
IF I like it enough, I would move up there, just because it has always been on my list of goals. But you guys! dont bug me about me moving or anything. It wont happen for 6 months ish anyway (when my contract expires with my new job) and I am very prone to not doing things unless I have one hell of a lot of otivation (example being moving to SF to live near Mad)
