Spent the afternoon unpacking my kitchen stuff. Since Mom and Dan will be consolidating two households, and I will be bringing all my stuff, there's a lot of duplicate and triplicate items floating around. Mom and I will be giving it to charity eventually, but I though I'd give you all first shot at it if anyone needs/wants anything. Some of this stuff has seen little to no use, so it seems a shame to get rid of it.
The following are things that we are currently getting rid of:
-a small coffee grinder, electric, like new
-a near-complete set of stoneware dishes: this includes 7 plates, 8 saucers, 8 mugs, and two over-sized bowls (we use them to serve sides at dinner, though I think they're just meant as soup bowls). Dishes are hunter green on the back and sides, and either dark red or navy blue on the inside. Anyone who's eaten at my house in the last several years will recognize them.
-a plastic pitcher for iced tea or lemonade (I think it holds 2 gallons), like new
-a large heart-shaped cake pan, never used
-a cheese grater
-assorted mugs
-bunt pan
-a lunch box, like new (warning: it's hot pink)
-a wonderfully 1980's coffee carafe
-a large skillet
-a very nice blue enameled tea kettle, also like new
There's some other things, which you're welcome to look through or ask about, but that's the best of the lot.
We'll probably head to Goodwill on Tuesday, so if you want anything, just let me know before then and I'll keep it back. There will also be more things trickling in for the next few weeks, so check back.
