Sunday night I was up til about 1am washing dishes that weren't mine. This usually wouldn't bother me, since last year I would wake up, find somewhat filled sink, and wash away. But this happened maybe a few months at the most, because my roommates would then clean up after themselves. These people (by which I mean Ian Bailey and his girlfriend, who decided to live with us without telling me or Araba) have left dirty plates for so long there were maggots on them.
Back to Sunday night. I wash their dishes, after I got fed up with the sight of my sink turned into a shiny dish rack. On Monday night, I found not only the sink full, but a pot full of someone's stew that has been there for at least 24 hrs and one of my ice trays with garlic peels in it. I pretty much lost it. However, I waited until my temper cooled before I sent my email about the kitchen.
This morning, I came up with the idea of using Abe's method when no one would clean their dishes.
I threaten to hoard the dishes until people start cleaning. They leave dirty dishes, I clean them and take them. Let's see how long they'll last without dishes.
And now Adama just sent me an email saying that I'm the dirty one.
Heads are going to roll, Adama Wiltshire.
