[Luke’s got a new job as paperboy! And he happens to be wandering around Mayfield, delivering papers to anyone on his route. Or at least, he's trying but appears to be struggling with it thanks to Mayfield’s resident drone doggies. The boy is currently locked in battle with a large, angry-looking drone dog as they play tug-of-war with a shredded ( Read more... )

[Hmmm..... Well he could tell the kid was in trouble. Best course of action is to get rid of the dog. Like any animal, Senri tries intimidation first, entering the dog's personal space and glaring at it. Growling too, for good measure.]

[Oh thank goodness someone found him. He didn't really want to spend all day in a tree. Luke watches from his spot.

The dog however, does seem to back down a little. After all, it was more after wandering paperboys than anything else.]

{That's a good thing for the dog, since Senri is kind of feral and was going to attack it if it didn't. Once it has backed down far enough, Senri turns to the tree, looking Luke over for obvious injuries.]

[He cocks his head to one side, not sure what Luke thought was incredible. But whatever. As long as the kid isn't hurt. He turns and picks up the fallen bag. All of the remaining papers proceed to fall out through the hole. Senri holds the now empty, ruined bag out to Luke. Hey, it's the thought that counts, right?]

[Oh dear, he's going to have a tough time explaining that. But Luke takes the ruined bag anyway.]

Um, thank you sir.

[Senri smiles, glad he could help. And then turns his attention to all of the papers on the ground. He knows what these are. Sort of. The man he lives with who insists that he's Senri's father, even though Senri is pretty sure he isn't, spends an awful lot of time staring at one of them every morning. But this kid has so many. He must really like them. After a moment, he picks one up and looks it over curiously.]

You can have it, if you want. I don't think I'll be delivering anymore papers today.

[From the way he smiles, you might think you gave him something really great. Usually he has to scavenge for things to keep as memories on his own. Being given something like that was special. Luke is also free to notice that Senri is looking at the paper upside down.]
