olume 1; this volume wasn’t summarized by hiriajuu so I wrote it out myself.
volume 2 volume 3 volume 4 Personality: Sion can easily be described as a kind, caring and thoughtful person. Growing up to be like his mother, with a kind heart, he always goes out on a limb to help or just to be there for someone. Even if they’re complete strangers he will do everything he can do help whether it be by giving them clothes or tending to wounds. With his positive outlook on life, he doesn’t believe anyone is truly bad unless they hurt his friends.
One thing that greatly impacts Sion is Nezumi alone. Considered to be the most important person to him, Sion would willingly risk anything for him even as Nezumi constantly tries to convince him that they will never be friends, but enemies. Because he cares so much about Nezumi, no matter what he may say or do, Sion will always refuse to leave his side and try to find a way to allow them to stay together.
Sion is known to carry the cliché desire of ‘world peace’ and no fighting on his shoulders despite whatever situation is brought upon him. Though this is only part of the reason, it’s why Sion decided to reach for the third option of breaking the wall to No.6 instead of picking No.6 over Nezumi. This being said, it doesn’t go without saying that Sion would use violence to reach his goal of achieving peace or rescuing a friend if absolutely necessary though he would still refuse to kill any human being. Ultimately this is something he often is conflicted with Nezumi with, since he believes letting No.6 destroy itself is the best idea.
However, there is more to Sion than positive thoughts and a happy-go-lucky, naïve attitude. It’s a side of Sion that only Nezumi and Rikiga have seen. Being incredibly overprotective of his friends, namely Nezumi, Sion does not tolerate people insulting or bringing physical harm to them, especially in front of him. If this does happen, acting out of pure rage, he attacks the person who harmed Nezumi, or his friend, with no resentment. When he becomes like this, the only way to snap him out of it is if he’s pulled off of the other person or if that person dies by his hand. But the moment he wakes up from his deadly trance, he often goes into a state of shock, unable to believe what he had done.
As a gifted student, Sion is knowledgeable in many things, over the years learning more about robotics and even in medical treatment though he’s familiar with ecology the most since that is what he studied under in school. But not all of this was learned by going to school or just by simply picking out a book and reading about a certain subject. In fact, most of what he knows come from his ability to analyze, observe and watch everything that happens around him with great concentration. Because he’s constantly willing to learn new things, this also means he’s also willing to try new things, even if he has never done it before, much like when he applied anesthetic and stitched up Nezumi’s arm as a child, despite his inexperience and only knowledge of it being a video he watched.
Strengths: Physical: Sion’s physical strength is no different than any other 16 year old boy’s. As he rides his bicycle or walks to work daily, his physical strength is relatively standard.
Mental/Emotional: As a student who entered the gifted curriculum in school, Sion is probably one of the smartest kids out there, mainly in the ecology major. But because he’s constantly memorizing and trying to learn different things, this automatically makes him more aware and knowledgeable of things than a sixteen year old would normally know.
Weaknesses: Physical: Working at the Park Administration office to control and maintain robots, Sion didn’t usually exercise outside of his normal bike ride or walk to work since he really isn’t required too and even as he entered the western block he didn’t exercise or fight nearly as much as Nezumi, making him weaker.
Mental/Emotional: Sion has a tendency to let his emotions get the better of him, especially when it comes to Nezumi’s safety. If Nezumi is ever harmed, Sion easily loses control of the anger inside of him and attacks the person who hurt him without any resentment, at least until he is either stopped or the person is dead. This often comes off as him being too overly protective of his friends to where he will do anything to help or protect them.
Even though Sion is incredibly smart for his age, this doesn’t mean he knows everything, in fact, he doesn’t know a lot of things because of how he was raised in No.6, not able to experience what life was like outside of what was there. Also, though his natural curiosity about new things is good to a point, it can slow him down greatly as he likes to take his time to try and understand it.
First Person: Is this thing on? I really hope it is… a-anyways, has anyone seen a guy named Nezumi? He also goes by Eve sometimes too. [A beat] He has long dark hair that goes down to the middle of his back but it’s usually up in a ponytail and he has burn marks on his back. …I guess that isn’t the most accurate description, sorry. Oh! I guess it might help to mention he has gray eyes. They’re a key quality he has.
Well, if anyone does see him, please tell me immediately. I really need to see him…
[Sucking in his breath to calm down, he sighs quiet audibly before speaking again] I guess I should thank those of you who explained all those things to me. I would like to ask more questions later but for now, all I can say is thank you.
Third Person: Dark. Dark and cold. Is this how Nezumi’s room always is? No, his room is always so comfortable and warm, so why is it cold and dark? Not even the sound of the mice cheeping reaches Sion’s ears as his red eyes stare lifelessly up at the sky. Almost nearly invisible snowflakes float down from that dark abyss, landing on his already pink tinted cheeks, eyelashes and hair though they quickly disappear into the white mess that is his hair. He blinks once, slowly regaining complete consciousness and as he wakes up, so do his mind and the alarms in his head.
Nezumi.
He jolts up, ignoring the searing pain that’s coursing through his back and quickly looks around, a shout following as he calls out to Nezumi. He licks his dry, chapped lips then sighs, leaving a cloud of his own breath to appear in the air before him. Of course, now isn’t the time to worry about the cold winter air, in fact it’s the last thing on his mind as he shakily stands up and calls out for Nezumi again, even louder than before. His voice carries through the chilly air, only to die out and leave him in the silence. It doesn’t surprise Sion that no one replied but it only makes him worry even more.
Nezumi had collapsed and now Sion isn’t able to find him! Let alone figure out where he is since this can’t be the western district.
Grabbing his sweater, not bothering to put on his button up shirt first or pants since he’s already (strangely) wearing some, he frantically starts to walk, or rather run, calling out Nezumi’s name every few seconds. Without noticing it, tears slowly begin to well up in his eyes which eventually makes him stop to rub his eyes with his sleeve. Right about now Nezumi would normally badger him for crying and letting his emotions get the better of him, but he’s truly worried.
If something happened to him…. Sion won’t be able to live with himself, or allow those who hurt him to live.
