Finally?
I had an amazing, wonderful weekend. I got to meet Mark. I was sooooooo nervous for some reason. My stomach was in knots... and a bit upset... and I almost had an anxiety attack when we got to the venue, before we got out of the car. I think it was a mixture of having high expectations... and the possibility of things not going the way we hoped... and him not liking what he saw... etc. I was a mess. LOL But Anna and Becky were awesome, and calmed me down so I was able to at least get into the venue. lol And it ended up, I had nothing to worry about. Nothing.
It was like we knew each other for years. I was instantly comfortable around him. We talked all night... enjoyed the music together... and it was just... comfortable... and nice. We had a great time. And it was good to see TC again... as it had been forever.
Anna and Becky went back to DM on Saturday so Mark and I could spend some time together. And it was as if we had been together for years, and were just spending a regular day together... that's how comfortable and right it all felt. It was wonderful... lots of talking... laughing... cuddling... and stuff. =) He is an amazing man. So incredibly sweet, caring, funny, thoughtful, adorable... and all kinds of other things I'm having a hard time putting into words.
We even talked about how fast this all seems to be happening. We came to the conclusion that this is what happens when you meet the right person. This is what it feels like when you meet the person you are meant to be with. That simple. =)
So, needless to say, I can't wait until he moves here so we can start our lives together... continue what's been started... and see where it takes us.
