Sorry. Sidetracked. Felicia Day is pretty awesome, though. Especially for Dr. Horrible and The Guild (and that music video! loves it!).
What I meant to say was I saw Avatar today. I initially wanted to do the whole IMAX 3D experience, but the theater in Dulles wasn't showing it in IMAX and supposedly Woodbridge has it? Just didn't feel like driving there D: So we went to Tyson's for an early morning showing cuz hey, it's cheaper!
Anyway, I really enjoyed it. Kinda like Pocahontas. But not really. But sorta. It was really predictable, but a damn great experience to watch in 3D. Didn't help that we were in the third row. I won't lie... the 3D made me jump at one point D: There was a piece of shrapnel flying! I was startled! ... I was really into the film, all right?!
Seriously though, taking a graphics course makes you really really appreciate the art rendering. I can barely imagine how many machines it took James Cameron to render that freaking movie. It was sooo pretty. To think, it took me 30+ hours to make a ball reflect an image (and it was still upside down! you'd think it'd be as simple as negating the vectors, but noooo... stupid matrix algebra!!) and this movie was just... !!! Probably not something I'd buy on DVD, but definitely a damn good watch in 3D.
Saw some really interesting previews. Want to see When In Rome because Kristen Bell is freaking adorable and Josh Duhamel is hot. Plus, it looks adorable. I can't take Tom Cruise seriously and I don't really care for Cameron Diaz, but Knight & Day looks pretty amusing.
These weren't previewed but I wanna see Legion and Leap Year. ♥ Paul Bettany! (his butt! in Wimbledon! so cute!) and ♥ Matthew Goode in Chasing Liberty! I won't lie. I freaking adore Chasing Liberty. It's hard for me to watch chick flicks in theaters these days. Paying $9+ for a non explosive movie is just kinda... meh :P Legion will be a POW movie, so that might be worth theaters. But ugh, these adorable chick flicks. And the monies. Stupid theaters charging an arm and a leg. Remember when it was $3.75 to watch a movie?! I was like... SEVEN >.<
I'm not looking forward to work this week :P I already have a project due in class Wednesday. It's not nearly done. Class just started last week, and the dude drones on for forever. I spent the 3 hours playing Geometry Wars and Plants vs Zombies which are both utterly addicting. Though sometimes playing PvsZ in class is not such a good idea when a wave of zombies infiltrates your backyard and eat all your plants then your brains T_T I yelp a little in frustration. Whups. Whatever, Brendan does MS paint pictures the entire class. Mike reads a book. Rich and Chu play old school games.
I did take a bath for the first time in years. Then I remembered why I never take baths. Because right after I settled into the water, it immediately got cold so I thought fine, I'll shower. BUT WAIT. I used all the freaking hot water for the bath! So I had a startling COLD shower. .... *sigh* Poor planning. Or something. At least I have a fuzzy soft bath robe D:
.... Is it time to go to Hawaii yet, guys?!
p.s. Yay! Chuck starts today! (DVR'd! ... can't stay up till 11. stupid work at 6am..) and Yay! 100th HIMYM ep coming up tomorrow! Rachel Bilson! NPH singing!
