Just finished reading Stardust. It's a cute fairy tale :) It got kinda laggy in the middle, but that happens sometimes. Still a pretty good book. Kinda wanna rent the movie now, though the reviews for it weren't very good.. reviews are always bad these days :P Cuz I also wanna watch Penelope.. partly cuz James McAvoy's in it.. but reviews were also like "been there done that." It's a fair tale :P whachu expect.
Wes is doubting the awesomeness that is Firefly and I'm trying not to punt him :P Hear me, Wes?! It's a damn good show!
Anyway, next book on the list is American Gods. At least I bought this one, so no more rushing to return it to the library. Oh library :)
Work was entertaining today. Showed Tommy around the place. Plus, I've had nothing to do so having him around kept me busy. No tasks! :( Ralph's been busy so he hasn't really assigned me anything at all. For 2 iteration periods. It's getting kind of... boring. Also, showing Tommy things is difficult cuz I'm still not very good with the system. I was helping Janel when possible today, but I'm still so bad at it -_-
Managed to have the craziest conversation about senators foot-tapping in bathroom stalls before leaving work today. Mete started talking about dropping a roll of toilet paper and trying to get it back, then Janel told him to be careful about tapping his foot.. which then led to Mete asking Curtis about the senator who did dirty things in bathroom stalls with the foot-tapping (cuz Curtis is the politcally minded one). Then that led to craziness about how Mete keeps himself occupied on the toilet, like playing the number-guessing game of "hi vs low" with his VPN numbers. And how men drop newspapers inbetween stalls so the neighboring... pooper (o_O awkward much?) can read the paper should he so desire. It weirded me out. And made me, Tommy & Janel laugh so hard that we were crying. Ralph had to come in and shush us =X lol, oops.
Oh. And before I left, I scared the crap outta JohnR =X It's too easy! I stared at him through the little glass next to his cubicle till he happened to glance over. He almost fell out of his chair. I really need to stop doing that...
