Why do plane tickets have to be so fricken ridiculous?! And why don't I have a month break anymore :(
I just bought my plane ticket to California for Christmas. $540!!! O.M.G!
It's worth it, but it's painful. I don't see why they're so expensive, though. Multiple times while booking, I'd click on the ones that said $500 roundtrip! And when I got to the "accept" screen, I'd get a "We're sorry, the price has gone from $500 to $700" Thanks for nothing, you bastards. Rot in hell.
So the cheapest one I found was Delta with 1 stop each time. Which, yknow, sucks ASS when you're sitting in THE LAST ROW. I bought my ticket THREE MONTHS in advance, and I somehow end up in the LAST FUCKING ROW. What is this crap x_x
Mike offered to drive me to the airport cuz I'm leaving around 4pm on Friday the 21st. This way I can spend a full weekend with the parents. J works FOREVVERR and has almost no holiday, so that was awesome of Mike. Dulles is close and he lives about 10min away, so it's not so bad. Made sure it wasn't a 9am flight cuz that'd be all kinds of wrongness. Coming back the 30th cuz parents work New Year's week, so no point in sitting alone in a house w/o a car :P But yay! Going home for Christmas!! \o/
