Went to watch Bourne Ultimatum at the crazy Fairfax De Lux theater with Wes & J on Friday. We were trying to watch the 7:10 showing and it was about 6:30. I roll up to the theater for the directions I wrote down.. and I was totally at the wrong one :( We were trying to find the theater closest to both Wes & I so it wouldn't be a horrible drive for either. I ended up opening so many addresses, I wrote the wrong one *sigh*
Luckily, Wes has a navigation system. The theaters were only a couple miles apart, so it wasn't so bad. But then, it was bad anyway cuz it's fricken Fairfax on a Friday night with Bourne opening o_O That was a stupid idea on our part, but all of us were bored out of our minds. The only open showing after the 7:10 one was at 10:10, so we took it. Ate at California Pizza Kitchen to pass the time. Bumped into a guy from my STS class from 4th year. Awkward hello's, as usual.
The two of them didn't quite understanding the need to go inside an hour before the movie started. They're used to rolling into the theater 10min beforehand if even that. I was like, nuh uh. That's not how it goes up here. You wait in line to go in. They were quite baffled by the whole thing. Bumped into a kid from high school who I haven't talked to for 4 years o_O Another awkward hello. We kept staring at each other like, "Where the hell do I know you from..?"
The movie was SWEET. Shit flying all over the place. All the previews before the movie were fricken intense. Terrorism and laced with politics. But I guess they're aiming at the Bourne audience. Too bad they were all teens who didn't really care and were there to watch Matt Damon kick ass. ..He's looking pretty old these days. I expected more from the ending.. I'm not sure what, but something.. MORE. Oi :P
Saturday J & I went to Potomac Mills just to get outta the house :P That was crazy. SO MANY PEOPLE! I forgot it was tax free shopping this weekend. Bumped into Long and Mai. More awkward hello's! But this one utterly so. *shrug* Eh.
Now, J's in Maryland for training and Peter's moving in. At 11pm. On a Sunday night. Go figure that one out...
Oh, so Fergie's "Big Girls Don't Cry"? For some odd reason I like it. I hate her, but I like it. But that's only after I realized Milo Ventimiglia was in the video. He looks greasy in it, but I squee'd. Why do I like this retardedly emo guy?! I do not understand myself... but he made me like the song. *hangs head in shame*
ps. WHY THE HELL IS IT SO DAMN HOT?!!!?!
