I almost forgot....
Today is Pi Day! 3/14 = 3.14... (I'll do everyone a favor and spare reciting it again.) In celebration, tonight I went out and bought a French Silk pie at Bakers Square and took it back to share with the roomies. So happy pi day, everyone. Go out and eat some pie in observance.
So after I get through this hellish week, I have one week of spring break. After I got back to my dorm today...I started to seriously consider the idea of possibly taking a two-day vacation to the North Shore on my break. By myself. With nobody else. No books, no people, no stress. I'm just starting this week, and people are starting to annoy me. Even the really nice ones, like my roommate. The idea of going, all alone, on a road trip and staying one night at a resort, doing nothing with nobody else, sounds like heaven right now. So I checked, and there's still a couple of rooms at this resort my mom and I stayed at two years ago, that had a jacuzzi and a wood fireplace. All I'd do is soak in the jacuzzi, make a fire in the fireplace, knit, watch movies (they have complimentary movie rentals), whatever I want. And in all honesty, that image in my mind actually makes me feel better about all the current stress. And, I've never taken a vacation completely alone, which would be an adventure, which makes me want to do it even more...
