It's finally finished.
I started this quilt
back in 2008. I finished the top in 2009 and then let it sit for a very long time. I got it in my head a few weeks ago to finish it, and I'm so glad I did. I absolutely adore it. It's too bad that I finished it right when it got warm so I can't really use it. But I know I will have time later.
I've been working on a sweater vest with the Knit Picks yarn that Dani gifted me. I had wanted to do something a little more elaborate, but I didn't really have the yarn to do so. So I just settled on making the v-neck version of
this vest.
This yarn is a dream to knit with and I'm really enjoying it. I'm going to add about 2" to the length of this because I remember how short I thought the last one was, and I'd rather it be a tad too long than too short. If I keep knitting the way I'm going now I should have this finished in a few weeks. :)
Dani sent me this picture today of our herb stand. Isn't it amazingly happy and bright? I am so in love with it. We are going to have the happiest garden ever.
