I came across a recipe for
marshmallow pie last week and decided I had to make it for Thanksgiving. I had Mike get me all of the ingredients and then I went to town. Right after I'd finished making it I realized I hadn't read the recipe thoroughly and missed the part where I needed to top the pie with more marshmallows. So I ran the store and called Mike in a panic because there a dozen different flavors of marshmallows and I couldn't decide which to buy. We decided on the gingerbread ones, and not only are the cute, but they went really well with the pie.

I wasn't a huge fan of this pie, though everyone else seemed to like it, the kids especially. It tastes like, well, marshmallows. And while I like marshmallows, it was a little overwhelming in pie form. But since the girls liked it so much I will probably make it again. It would do really well in little mini single-serving pies in cup cake liners, I think.
We're having panzanella for dinner tomorrow and I needed a new bread recipe to make for it. So I did a little surfing and came across
Pioneer Woman's dutch oven bread and thought I'd put some rosemary in it to go with the rosemary on the roasted vegetables.

It's a little crispy on top but otherwise, it's beautiful. And it was super easy to make. Make it!
