now, i havent updated in a WHILE but this weekend was the best so i'm going to have to
so, first of all, i finished all my homework as soon as i got home on friday and that made the rest of the weekend that much better.
ok, on friday night we all went to olive garden for melissa's birthday. i dont even know why, but it was so funny. actually, i do know why. our waiter was so funny and gave me a really wierd look as soon as i asked him something. nancy brought up one of their old middle school stories that made everyone die. there was an old indian dude that kept staring at our table (actually, everyone was staring at our table) and we kept on trying to take pictures at him. basically, it was great. oh! and, "but my cell phone and my leg are in there!!" after that, some people left, and the rest of us went to midnight madness. it was so tight. i know its hard to believe, but i had never seen a illini game live (i'm sure i have when i was little, but you know) so even tho it wasnt a real game, it was still so cool to see all the guys in their element. also, my love for augustine came back, full force. but they did us bogus by not signing stuff afterwords. on the brightside, we did get some incredibly hideous shirts:)
saturday, was also especially spectacular (spectacular). it was melissa's b-day celebration-part deux. first off was elizabethtown, which, in my opinion, was TOTALLY worth all the hype. orlando bloom was beautiful, as usual, even though his british accent kept popping in throughout the movie. this only bad thing was kirsten dunst trying to pull off a southern accent which did not work at ALL. after that it was off to steak and shake. thats when the night started getting amazing. we all came at the same time, except sadie and jared made a detour after the movie to get her house keys. we were all waiting on them to order. and they walk in, and jared was holding christian IN HIS ARMS with like a bow on christian's head. it turns out that mel had told sadie a while ago that she wanted christian for her birthday, and sadie made that happen. it was SO funny. and yet again, another funny waiter. after steak and shake, it was off to emily's to chill. good times were had there, and some of us were introduced to barreda boulavard which is the funniest shit i have ever seen. after that, everyone left, except me, melissa and emily. we went to pick up adri, then sisterhood of the traveling pants and then we went to melissa's for a lil sleepover. a LOT of funny things happened in that house, including melissa's mom asking her if sign hanging outside their house was "ghetto". and i really did like that movie. i mean, the book is TOTALLY better but the movie is still decent, so w/e.
so that was my weekend. i know that was really long, so i appreciate if you read it all.
ps. UMM?! i HATE baseball season. oc's not going to be on until november, and my usual time of friends is now baseball. sdklfjl.
