A/N: Just a short fic for Valentine's Day.
Kevin stood in front of the hotel mirror and checked himself out. He was fresh from a nice hot shower and only wearing a thin towel around his waist. He was cleaned and shaved. Ready for anything.
He wasn't sure if he was about to do the right thing, but he wasn't going to back out now. He let the towel slip to the floor and slid on a pair of black silk boxers with red hearts on them.
All day Kevin had watched Nick watch the other boys. Brian was on the phone with a girl from one of their video shoot, Howie was on the phone with his family and AJ had been on the phone with the girl he'd been seeing and the boy he'd been seeing. Nick sat there and listened to each conversation. Kevin watch the blond get sadder and sadder as the day went by and Kevin had to do something about it.
Kevin pulled up a clean pair of jeans and slipped on a semi-wrinkled white dress shirt. He couldn't decide on the blue or black tie. He knew he would end up putting on the green one Nick gave him, but it was damn ugly. He slipped on a pair of sneakers. He did everything one step at a time. He was stalling and knew it. He grabbed the two gifts and made his way out the door.
He stood at Nick's hotel room door and knocked twice. He tried not to hold his breath. It felt likes hours before he heard the lock open.
When Nick opened the door Kevin shoved the box of chocolates and single rose into Nick's arms. Kevin voice cracked when he said, "Happy Valentine's Day."
Nick's blue eyes lit up and he smiled while biting his bottom lip. The blonde spoke in a high than normal voice, "Really? For me?"
"Yes," Kevin barely whispered.
Nick looked at the heart shaped box and then back at Kevin. Then his blue eyes widened. "This wasn't the one that was under your bed this morning, was it?"
"Yes, why?" Kevin didn't like where this was going.
Nick smiled brightly and opened the empty box. "They were great."
"Well, at least they were for you." Kevin just hung his head and shook it. When he looked back up, he quickly leaned forward and kissed Nick lightly. When Nick kissed back, Kevin pushed Nick into the room and slammed the door behind them. The box and rose fell to the floor as he pushed Nick up against the wall and they started to kiss with more heat... and some tongue. His hand made it down the back of Nick's jeans before he heard the coughs and snickers.
Kevin froze with his hand gripped tightly on Nick's ass. He pulled his mouth away from the giggling blond and turned to see the other boys in the room watching them.
Brian had his hands over his eyes, while AJ was just watching and smirking. Howie told his sister he had to go because Kevin and Nick were about to entertain them.
Kevin was speechless. Nick slipped Kevin's hand out of his jeans and pulled Kevin to the door. "Sorry, we'll have to take this to your room. I like the way you cheer me up better."
