Chimpanzees & the Future of Science Education

Every now and again, I feel the compulsion to do my civic duty and educate the public in the methods and discoveries of my chosen discipline, Science; to provide material here on your pages, Agnes, which will serve to edify your readers on a subject more immediately pertinent than my own eccentric and unpredictable internal states. Unfortunately, due to constraints imposed upon my time by that cruel harpy Life, and her even more wicked brother Apathy, these public services must remain (for the time being!) limited to the occasional sharing with my audience of some particularly interesting article discovered on Slashdot.

The preceding, of course, is intended to serve as a prolegomena to my posting a link to just such a particularly interesting article, one which I have every reason to believe that at least one of my readers will also be excited over. So, without further ado:
