Twenty-two good reasons to own a dog

1. You never feel alone
2. Complete strangers smile at you when you pass by
3. You make new friends easily
4. You get lots of fresh air and exercise
5. You are always greeted with hearty licks and furious tail-wagging, no matter how briefly you were away
6. You can safely walk outside after nightfall
7. You don't need to worry about burglars
8. Your blood pressure is lower
9. You learn that words are not needed to find a common language and mutual understanding
10. People don't think you're mad if you talk to yourself, they think you talk to your dog
11. People generally act more kindly and polite towards you
12. You always have someone who doesn't care if you have a bad hair day or just look terrible
13. You feel undescribably proud when you have managed to teach a trick to your dog
14. ... and more proud still if he learns something all by himself
15. You can use the mother of all excuses, "my dog ate my homework/essay/article" (don't expect that it works, though)
16. You learn the location of all street lamps within 5 km of your house
17. You can dry your tears in soft fur
18. You don't have to open tv to be entertained
19. You can play along with all cute dog toys (squeeing rubber hedgehogs, anyone?)
20. You get to wonder what kind of dreams your dog sees when he whimpers and moves his legs in sleep
21. There's no better way to wake up than to feel a wet snout pushing your ear gently
22. You know that the phrase "man's best friend" is true

Post this in your lj if you own a dog.

I tried free MMORPG called Knight Online today. Despite old-fashioned and quite poor graphics, the general cliches of the genre and the wandering hoards of idiots, I mean fellow players, it was quite fun to mindlessly slaughter some worms. *giggles* My Rogue is now Ranger level 20 - or 21, not sure really - low level beginner character still, that is. You might find KO interesting, Loe. It's nothing compared to AO and other paid ones, but it's funny nevertheless.
