Noise complaint re. EV 430

Just returned fr. 10th St. Market to pay the $10.00 IOU fr. last night's last-min. grocery shopping excursion--i.e. I'd had no idea till payment time at the cash register that I'd forgotten to bring my wallet with me.  Since the cashier/store asst. dude was closing up for the night, he told me I could pay for last night's groceries another time.  Fortunate situation, but also a pain-in-the-d.  But ultimately awesome how I've just finished taking care of that pain-in-the-d. business.

So I've returned to EV fr. that brief excursion in blowing sleet, and rec'd email replies fr. Erna Rosenfeld informing me (and my longtime EV neighbor Clara) that the EV 430 residents, about whom we've complained, will be moving in May.  Yesssssss!!!!!  Those mf-ers are such a dysfunctionally problematic pain-in-the-ass--i.e. disturbingly loud verbal altercations, and a crying/shrieking kid all semester...  Clara told me today that the IUPD have been involved in that situation--so I guess it's even more hardcore than I'd imagined.  I'm so used to dealing with dysfunctional neighbor complaints, the worst of which was Stephen Pickels at my former N. Washington residence (e.g. he's listed in the IN sex offender registry).  At any rate, I'm glad I've repeated my noise complaint to Erna--this time, with Clara's corroboration.

On a much more positive note...  I'm glad that for once in my life, I could register for all the SLIS courses I've wanted for the following Fall sem.  Fingers remain tightly crossed for some form of financial aid fr. SLIS.
