Getting antsy re. S401 podcast grp. meetings
Super annoyed and frustrated because I came all the way out here to the Wells Library to meet up with Levon and Vicki to plan/produce our S401 podcast assignment. Turned out to be a 10-min. meeting during which we did nothing except ascertain that the producer login password worked, while Vicki said she'll write out the Excel instructional script for the next time we meet up (i.e. 1 PM Fri.). In the mean time, I have no idea what part I'll be playing in this grp. project--though Vicki said I could present the podcast at our last S401 class meeting.
Vicki has automatically assumed the role of grp. leader since she claims to know all the technology (i.e. she never comes to any of the S401 classes because she already knows pretty much everything covered and has submitted all assignments via Oncourse minus the podcast). Yet this whole grp. project is so disorganized (e.g. what specific aspect of Excel are we presenting??). Plus Vicki is so socially unattractive and gets antsy with me if I ask her Q's re. how things are done, etc. Anyway...
Since I'm here at the graduate Research area (West Tower), I might as well make the most of it--e.g. locate and photocopy this one S583 syllabus article that's not available via e-Reserve. Problem: I don't know the exact citation because I don't have the syllabus with me now and it's not posted on Oncourse. So it'll be challenging to see what I can manage with just Rollo Silver, Library Trends (1961), something re. rare books. Off I go to the "Z" call no. stack area.
