Nominated for 2009 Student Recognition Award (IUB Libraries)

Linda handed me a sealed campus mail envelope, causing me to think, "Oh no, another set of serials item record correction directives fr. Peggy at Bindery Prep." Well...! It turned out to be a letter fr. Jennifer Chaffin, Dir. of Human Resources at IUB Libraries, notifying me that Lou had nominated me for an IUB Libraries Student Recognition Award. Arright! Even though I haven't won the SRA, it's still awesome to have been nominated. This nomination will translate well on my cv and resume, and on future SLIS scholarship applications as well. High 5 to all those times I've clocked in here OK.
