My week in review
Lost our frisbee game again. It really shouldn't have happened, we were playing such good D and the game was really close, but much closer than it should have been. Our offense just needs to clean up a bit.
HSI No. 3 finished up yesterday. Afterwards I had a dinner date with The Daily girls. We all went to Judy's house and ate a lovely meal and caught up on old times. It was so nice to see Judy again and to talk with Cat, Erica, and Myia. I ate too much, but it was worth it.
Once again, HSI left me exhausted. I fell asleep watching Simpsons about halfway in and didn't wake up until 3:30am, at which point I insisted to Tyler that I had to wash my face.
This morning I got up at 8am to make a goodbye poster for Derek L with Christine. Of course we shouldn't have gotten up so early because we just sat around talking with Alan and Morgan for two hours, it was pathetic. But we finally made the sign and put it up and it was terribly sad ): It's just not going to be the same around here without Derek!
This weekend my parents are coming up for dinner (Todai) and a movie (The Devil Wears Prada). Since Tyler won't be here, I may try start up Sex and the City, season 2. Although I did just buy a new book that has me completely enthralled but I don't want to rush through it so that I can read it during the HSI workshops (which I will be sitting through for the fourth time next week).
Sunday is spelunking with Christine, Alan, and Andrew. Excited but also scared because I keep seeing trailers for The Descent on the tele. Quite frightening really.
