Title: The Many Versions of POP. Chapter 1
Rating: PG for this chapter: for two men, parenting.. viciously.
Summary: Chris and Lance's family is getting older, and their daughter, as if they needed more odd surprises, is accepted to hogwarts. The story is told in many parts, from multiple vantage points.
Authors note: I ADMIT!! Ive been reading fics again and i cant help it but this was completely sparked DIRECTLY from Rhys's MPREG (thats the title not the category. No I havent seeked permission to write it, and I suck for that. AND its a crossover AU-ish type deal.. but the bunny has been biting my ankles for days. and it WILL turn out long, chaptered. but heres the beginning. Its not necessary to read hers though i strongly encourage it forher talent.. and who DOESNT need another fandom..
its located at

thank you... and now...
Chapter ONE. O-mail
Professor... Granger led the children into the "great hall" with a stiff upper lip and a look that read 'behave.. or else' and 'welcome little ones' at the same time. Bernadette was TERRIFIED. Really, she had no idea what was going on. But there was a cute little boy on the boat named Sirius that she wanted to be friends with. He didn't seem to mind talking to a, muggle? He appeared to be a rarity.
A talking hat whispered in her ear for a moment and sent her to sit with a group of Black and yellow clad kids, called Hufflepuffs, who ALL seemed nice. Too nice almost. She trusted people more than her....parents, but not that much. That nice Sirius boy looked very proud to have been sent to sit with a bunch called Griffyndors. A man at the head table with round glasses and shaggy graying hair stood and clapped until the headmaster chuckled and told him to sit. The old man to his right sneered. She was afraid of him, most of her house mates told her he was harmless...now. He couldn't do magic very well anymore, something about losing his wand and most of his power to some guy with a name starting with a V, but he was too good at his job to leave anyway.
She cried herself to sleep that night and asked to e-mail her...dad but most of the kids looked at her like she was crazy. One finally told her to send... an owl.
An owl landed on a second-floor balcony of a huge house in Orlando. It tapped on the window until a short scruffy looking man came to the doors and allowed it entry. Taking the scroll wearily he offered it a cup of water and the owl drank and nestled itself on his pillow, next to a gray and blond man with short hair and soft hands that instinctively stroked its feathers groggily and shrugged. Chris, already up, decided to make breakfast and opened the scroll on his way down to the kitchen.
The cry of a baby interrupted Chris and he dropped the note out of his pocket when he lifted the little boy from the crib. He stopped crying when Chris sang to him softly and snuggled the boy, Levon, to his shoulder. The gray-blond head appeared on his other shoulder and harmonized with him, Levon began to giggle. Lance noticed the note while they sang and picked it up, then led Chris towards the staircase, baby and all.
The pan of bacon sizzled and popped as Lance read the note out loud to Chris.
"Dad and Daddy-Boo"
"haha.. she wrote that down Lance.. haha. Kid's awsome."
"Yes.. she IS your daughter and all.. anyway.
Dad and Daddy-Boo,
This place is interesting and scary. I wear black robes and my house colors are black and yellow. A talking hat sat on my head and told me I'd be a perfect Hufflepuff. Thats my house. The kids in my house are so sweet and nice, but a kid in green spat at me and called me a mudblood, which is apparently really mean. It means dirty blood, and its a nasty insult. I guess like the f-word you taught me poeople called Daddy once, until you punched him, like you weren't supposed to Daddy-boo. (Daddy told me you liked the nickname, I'll give you a magical one that you'll like more hehe.)
The boy was in a house called Slytherin. Apparently there was a war, we heard about it sort of, when I was really little. It ended a few years ago but the kids here, the ones who knew they were magic, grew up in it. Lots of them are mad their side lost, and hate people who's parents aren't all pure magic blood. I learned that in my history class today. They teach us about the war first. I learned to make my wand do things like move pillows today. It's really cool, but i'm not allowed to show you. I almost hate it here because I miss you. But almost noone here knows who Daddy is, or Daddy-Boo. There is two nice kids like me who are from Ireland and Germany who asked about my last name. They knew, but they just thought it was cool that famous people have magic kids too. I told them what we said I should. They cant tell anyone, because telling muggles I have famous dads is like telling people I'm magic.. It would be a scary day. They understood.
I miss you daddy and daddy-boo. Tell Levon I love him like I love you. Tell uncle Justin there is a boy here with curly hair who looks like him. And tell uncle JC that he was right, There's a troll in the basement, but it wont eat me. It is building a kwid-itch stadium. Its a game they play. OH AND I GET TO LEARN TO FLY! I love you.
Bernadette."
"She's such a good kid."
"I miss her Chris... "
Levon gargled and giggled in Lance's arm and he smiled, kissing the Boy on the forehead.
