my day: going from one air conditioned store to another
oh. my. gosh. it is *so* freeking hot here! i think i'm going to melt...
my little sister is at some church thing from nine this morning to ten thirty tonight. and my parents decided to take a break from us to went to out grandparents' house last night and just came back.
anyways, because of the emmence heat, laulaumonster and i decided to get out of the house because the car has air conditiioning, and so do stores. so we didn't live the house until, like, almost one. and you'd think that after taking so long, we'd both look gorgeous, right? but it was not so. i mean, laulaumonster looked infinatly better than me, but still. and out hair was really icky and poofy because of the heat and stuff. and i woke up this morning with fifty billion pimples (which i blame the heat for, for making me all sweaty and nasty).
so anyways. we got in the car and blared the air conditioning and our "compilation of summer songs for blaring raddness" cd. and we went to best buy (to return the cd heatherface got me because she got me the wrong one and to get the 'walk the line' cd for mah daddy for father's day), then to target (for the head automatica cd), then to michales (for a photo album for laulaumoster), then to sharky's (for nachos which my sister had had before, and they were actually *really* good!), then to starbucks (because coffee=life), then to peet's (for free sample of their new drink), then to von's (for a job aplication for laulaumonster).
and yeah. so now i really really literally have no money. i told heatherface to get me an afi cd for my birthday except for not decemberunderground or sing the sorrow, but she accedentally got me a tribute cd (a bunch of other people singing their songs). and i didn't want that, so i switched that for "very proud of ya," their first cd. there's not even hunter or jade yet! i haven't listened to it yet. i heard one of the songs ("this secret ninja") on launchcast, and i like it.
and i also got the head automatica cd. becuase i heard "beating heart baby" on launchcast and i totally loversed it, because it was awesome. so i went on their myspace and listened to a couple of their other songs, and i liked it. so i got the cd. except it said that "beating heart baby" wasn't on this cd, but it actually *is*! as a bonus track! and it makes me muchly happy. :D and i also got it because as much as i lovers screamo music, pop music is just so much more appropriate for when you're melting because of the heat, you know?
so those two things, plus mah daddy's present means i have no money. but i still need the pink spiders cd. and some other stuff, but it's too hot to think right now.
