welcome to short pump virginia
so life has been different and busy and hectic. some ups and some downs. mostly all work. lots of work. too much work. i needed out. and here i am in virginia for a month for bertucci fun. or a few weeks at least. arrived a few minutes ago. anyone in the richmond area wanna hang out? i have some days off i don't quite know what to do with.
the trip wasn't bad. stopped along the way at target and xmastree shop, and a rest stop or two, hit lots of traffic in dc, but katie is good company. saw signs for a waffle house and a chix-fil-a! it was like being in bama. also saw signs for a popeyes and tried to find it but couldn't.
hotel is nice. roomie has already checked in but i haven't seen her. nice to be online. i have a lot to say, but i'm so emotionally drained after the last few weeks i don't have the energy or organization to make it all make sense and type it out coherently. i will soon, i hope, i keep telling myself. i never do. but whatever.
