- Jimmy Barnes is Jewish. I don't understand how he could have taken this long to find out!
- Gordon is alive, emaciated but alive. And snuggled up to my legs for warmth, he seems happy.
- Kenji alarmed by unfamiliar and sudden laptop noises = adorable.
- Busy, active, walking, To Do Lists.
- The concept for my next zine, which will probably remain unpublished as per usual, is forming in my head. Almost finished before it's begun. No-one's ever read my zines. (I'm the ultimate lo-fi zinester. One of the few/many [?] who isn't really interested in the zine scene. Doesn't make me superior; makes me kind of stupid actually. Why do I even bother making them?)
- Not shot-silk, not seersucker, not broderie anglaise... what do you call that party dress cotton from the late '60s/early '70s that's often quite thin with a repeated pattern of tiny stitches in a dot or fleck pattern all over it? I have a piece of fabric like that (vintage) and a new top. The shop lady couldn't remember; she's the one who got me started... Anyway, it's extremely pretty and I wish I could remember what party dress(es) I wore that were made of it. Well, I do remember one: white with red specks, and a broderie anglaise-like trail of peekaboo binding sewn on top that had red ribbon threaded through it. It's in a photo. I'm pretty sure the ubiquitous party dress brand - or so it seemed to me at the time - was Anstee.
