This is Leroy Brown. He's the saddest dog in the whole damn town.
Unfortunately the price tag is covering his other supremely forlorn-looking eyebrow
T. laughed at the notion that "Uncle Pete's Toys are Magic" and couldn't resist soliloquy-ing some very wicked paedophilia chatter that almost made me laugh. Talk about mad, sad and bad.
Bella helping out in the organic vegie patch
We brought Bella over from Dad's yesterday arvo so she could play with Kenji. Instead I put her to work in the garden, watering, pruning, weeding and harvesting. She's lickin' her chops with the satisfaction of a hard day's work achieved.
Bella (who is so very) and Kenji in the backyard
Of course I gave her a rest every four hours, as required by labour laws here (10 years ago, anyway), and then they were straight back to it. These pics were taken right before I (nearly wrote vacuumed) mowed the lawn. It looks amazing now. We've got a big chunk of the family coming over in 1.5 hours (halp! halp! Gotta tidy up more!) and the little ones will wanna run around outside with the pooches. Oh, Bella is adorable. Such a sweet-natured doggie. Poor K-Dog's exhausted.
So am I. I need to shower, eat breakfast (note to me: do not omit), tidy kitchen more, bathe Kenji (before my shower), put up some Chrissie deckies. Oh, and tidy up the back deck and iron the exquisite hand-embroidered table cloth T's 'mom' sent us. My mom-in-law. Can't wait to show Ma, C and N. Can't wait to SEE N. First time in SIX YEARS. Ever since she moved down to Tassie.
