· Finish belated Christmas cards
· Write shopping list incl. huge green salad, girls staying over, etc.
· Order present for sis and boyfriend in London
· Order present for sis and boyfriend in Mullumbimby
· Late-night Christmas shopping
· Walk K
· Ask Dad if we can borrow lawnmower while Lisa's is out of action
· Put books back on shelves
· Wash curtains
· Print photo of Anne
· Print Medicare application form
· Assemble T's ID for Medicare
· Book T a dentist's appt
· Wash K
· Hang clothes on the line.... NOW.
Villeroy & Boch snow crystals
Even though I've got heaps of Christmas decorations, I get tired of pulling out the ageing glitz every year. For this reason, I'm very slowly accruing good quality Christmas ornamentation-just one or two a year. We've also decided not to put a Christmas tree up this year. We just don't feel like it and I feel really good about giving myself permission not to do it. Since the nieces are coming to stay Saturday night, I'll arrange a few poignant posies of some of the nicer deckies, and this will be the inaugural year of breaking out the two new snow crystals as in the picture above. T. says he doesn't like them but he will. He will!
