Thanks, Amy, for identifying it for me. I don't remember ever seeing them here in Australia. And here is the top half of the miniature flat cat poking out of the little Christmas stocking on our tree.

If I'd thought to photograph it in full, you'd see a cat lazing flat out like a lizard drinking. I think it's based on Patches, sortofkindof's gorgeous pussycat.
