My plan to handmake our Christmas cards this year has hit a snag. I ordered the wrong kind of transparencies from Officeworks. Damn!
The Christmas ornaments I'm making for the ornament swap, though, are getting there although the sewing machine started jamming. Mum's taken it away for a much-needed service. Luckily I set them up so that I could finish them by hand. Otherwise I'd be fucked. Finishing them is the least fun part. I have to stuff them with this acrylic stuffing that aches to spread out - won't stay put until I can sew up the gap. It's really annoying. Not only that, but sewing in the loops by which to hang them is proving more tricky than first envisioned. I wish I could use the machine.
In all this hubbub I forgot about
marvelousmail #11 aka Marvelous Mail Eleventeen. I've only got a week left to do the whole package, but it shouldn't be too hard. It would be good if I could decide on a colour - what with the theme this round being "One Colour" and all. What colour would you choose?
