Work, Travel, and Baking
I really miss LJ. I never post here anymore and many of my flist have done the same. I'm more on Twitter ( @bluebear_74) and LJ now days. Part of it is that the App/Program I use to use to post no longer works, been busy at work, and just the lack of things to post about. Maybe I need some new people on my flist to bring me back out.
I haven't even posted once about the new season of True Blood! Overall I liked the season. They cut down a bit on all the pointless stuff (could have done with all of Alcide's storyline, pointless). I'm hoping with Alan Ball stepping down it refreshes the show and makes it as great as it once was. They actually had a good cliffhanger too, the past couple have been terrible.
Some up of what's happening.
- Had to turn off anonymous commenting, I was getting so much spam. Has anyone else had this issue?
- Been extremely busy at work. I hope this means a bigger raise in November!
- I'M FINALLY GOING TO THE USA!! After a few failed attempts, I'm finally going September 2013. The plan is doing Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas and New York via Tour. The fly down to Miami, hire a car and drive up to Orlando (WIZARDING WORLD OF HARRY POTTER) and from there driving to New Orleans (I hear such great things about it). We also hope to squeeze Rio (Brazil) at the end and relax.
- I've been bitten by the Macaron bug again. After a few crappy batches I gave up, but one good batch and I want to make them every weekend! I just wish the ingredients were cheaper because then I would! I haven't been taking photos of each batch (other than iPhone ones) because it's always dark when I finish and natural light looks best.
More has happened (concert, and what not) but it's been so long I'm not sure there's much use posting about it.
