Of Life, Apple, and Red Riding Hood

OMG. It's been over a month since I've updated!

Life has been crazy busy past few weeks. Work has been ok, but I haven't been able to leave on time all week because my started a new job so it's no longer convenient for her to pick me up after she finishes work (she's get to my work at 4PM, I finish at 3PM). Instead I have to wait for my brother who doesn't always leave work on time.

iPhone had a hardware issue, I was worried I'd have to pay $249 to get it "repaired" out of warranty at Apple, instead I only had to pay the Battery repair fee which was $109. So glad, my contract and the new iPhone will be out soon. I also bought the iPad 2 Friday when it was released. Oh. My. God. I thought getting there at 2-ish would give me heaps of time and wouldn't be too far back. It didn't. The line was already massive and when they got to me at 5:30 with the card with what stock I wanted they had run out of white (despite being told earlier in the day I should be fine and get what I wanted from the staff).

I ran around to two JB HiFi stores, one of which sold the last one I wanted as I walked in. I ended up getting it at Big W which had no line, quite a few white ones left, and was $50 cheaper (and $3 on the leather smart cover).

I take back what I said, their not just a big iPod touch. The big screen makes all the difference (I feel weird looking at my small iPhone screen!). In love with Air Video, which lets you stream video to your iPad/iPhone from you PC or Mac (no more having to wait for videos to convert then sync!), and also Flipboard which takes feeds (i.e. Twitter, Facebook, ONTD, etc) and displays the in a pretty way for you to read.

Watched Red Riding Hood on Saturday with two of my friends. I know it got bad reviews, but I quite liked it. Eye candy helped (watched it for Shiloh Fernandez, but hello Max Irons!). It's stupid people are compairing it to Twilight, other than the same director, and a love tri-angle (which almost every movie has), their nothing alike.
