Man I have a bunch of back entries to do.

At least riveting gets me out of Hilltop, or at least that's what it resembles now. I expect drive bys any time soon.

Today the low-end version of Sibley told me about how he got on at the company I am temping for. After two years of various gigs through agencies, UPS warehouse, etc, he latched onto this place and he has really enjoyed it. I tried to contain my excitement here. I nearly lost it though when he talked about one temp who would make his own design with the rivets, definitely DSHS material there.

For those who care - a low-end version of Sibley means someone who wears clothing that's more worn, is easily amused by low wage jobs, has a receding hairline, yet otherwise looks or acts like Sibley (offers advice, etc).

I am still learning peoples' names and not by introducing myself either. I eavesdrop and eventually it comes on. The late forties guy with a moustache and glasses and looks like he uses Hair Club for Men, that's Rondo. A fifties guy with gray beard who works on electronics - Chuck. The gal who looks like Amy from EWUPS - Robin.

What could I have done with my day and the weekend after? Well a lot more than what will happen, church pictures and delivering phone books. As pointed out by some - I am no longer but try telling that to those left. Phone books will consume a good chunk of my time. I should have headed to Spokane or Bellingham. Oh no I had to stay here and wish for fun activities, hikes to Ellinor or Bull of the Woods, baseball in Salem, etc. How many games has Cough gone on the package I bought him? Zero? Ok then.

I hate my birthday. It's largely due to family issues and the grim fact I am a year older but have little to show for. Ovall left a song on the answering machine. I should return the call.
