What’s the 611?

I got a mailing address, finally, so send mail (postcards, invites, random objects) to

PO Box 611
Tacoma, WA 98401

Well I will most likely be stuck around here in this foul corner of Hell so why not try to enjoy it? Yes indeed.

I wrote up a list of possible goals/activities for August. It has hiking one or more of the "40" on the permanent to do list, getting a haircut, getting a new ID card, buying new clothes, joining some groups, camping somewhere, volunteering, job interviews, and calling people (help & friends).

I picked up an application at DSHS. Tomorrow I will turn it in and see if I qualify for benefits. In the words of Uncle Lee "I am ashamed," but I have few real options. The form has great questions like "Are you presently running from the law? Yes No." It's questions like those that give one the urge to check yes for amusement purposes.

We celebrated my mother's birthday yesterday by going out to dinner. It went as expected.

Cough has been in rare form, creating scenes at everything. Driving to get a Food handler's Permit = attempts to jump out of a moving vehicle. Going to Temp Agencies = scuffle out in front. Showing up at the Fairgrounds = high pitched wail.

You know I just do not want to talk about my "family" right now. It is too painful.

Assessing my funds I may obtain a cell phone. If so, then no more random calls from phone booths in the rough. Sibley won't have to guess if I am calling.

Long term I have to figure out if I should, return to college, join a union, work temp agencies, or live some place else.

Going off subject - Brian wants to do season tickets for 2006. Will I? The Rainiers team lost three straight before embarking on a road trip with a depleted roster. Jeff Harris, 31, made his major league debut, pitching five shutout innings for the Mariners yesterday. But they'll probably send him down next week. After all the Mariners for the most part reward mediocrity more than stellar performances.
