It seems like even the slightest things cause me to go into a fit of depression. I absolutely hate it, I feel like maybe I need to up my meds or something. But thats not something I wanna do, I dont want to be so dependent on medications for the rest of my life in order to be happy. Right now though, I realize that I need them because of all of the changes and infrequency of my life.
I have been so upset ever since I got back to State. I parked my car and when I went to get on my bike the front tire was gone! Somebody actually stole just the front tire of my bike. They didnt attempt to get the frame or anything else just the FRONT TIRE! I am so pissed off right now about that. Not only did that force me to walk alone in the dark back to my place but it also really fucks up my plans for tomorrow. Tomorrow was going to be jam packed anyways without having to go get my bike fixed. I have class from 8am to 8:50am. I have a break which I was going to use to prepare for my lab but now I'm going to have to spend the time getting my bike fixed. Then I have GEO and MTH from 12:40pm to 2:40pm. I have Friendshop (see below) from 3:15pm to 5:15pm. Then I have to haul ass over to my 6 o'clock lab. :::Sigh::: On top of it all, I'm in the early phases of a cold that I no doubt got from Chris, which he warned me off. I feel like crap.
Anyways Friendshop is a community service group. Its almost all elementary education majors. We go to this elementary school down the street from MSU and do an afterschool program with the kids. Each day there is a differnet subject area. I volunteered to do Science since that is after all my major. But of course it had to land on the day in which I already have the most classes. So I'm going to see how it goes tomorrow and hopefully I'll survive. Luckily I got an email from the girls who coordinate Friendshop saying they had too many volunteers to kids ratio for Mondays so we were separated into groups and I go only every other week. Dont get me wrong, Im so excited to be doing this, but I just dont think I can handle so much on one day.
On top of school and crap I have my job. If you dont know already, I am a professoral assistant. Basically I do the research projects and jobs that are typically associated with grad students. I just got a sweet deal from the Honors College to do this. I'm working with a committee in the Department of Education that is trying to prepare pre-service teachers on how to use the crappy curriculum materials they are given. It has a lot to do with revising the TE402 class and since I'm only in TE150, it is needless to say that I'm totally lost. My professor, Christina, has given me a lot of background information and stuff to go over during my free time which has been helping me. But there is a lot of it and I'm having trouble finding time to look over it. Luckily, I'm not the only one totally lost. There is another PA on the committee who happens to live across the hall from me. That is a relief.
:::sigh:::
I should go to bed. I have an early morning tomorrow and a long day.
