I don't know who exactly reads this, or who reads this that would be able to pass along this information to anyone whom it would help, but I'm doing my little part to get this information out there. I received the following in an email from my high school:
In an effort to help those in the storm's wake, Groton has placed its name on regional and national referral lists for families seeking
educational options beyond those provided in areas where they have relocated.
If you have friends, extended family, or business associates in the storm-ravaged area who are still looking for a school placement solution for their child or children, please get the word to them that Groton is already working with families to provide a temporary school setting and will continue to take applications for admission for the next seven days. These placements are tuition free, and since the School is already at full enrollment, students will likely live in faculty homes. Families should contact John Niles, Director of Admission, for further details.
