still here, still looking for a job, still staving off my parents and everything that goes with that.
however, i've learned something truly fabulous that i thought i would share with you.
my test for the cpd is june 4th, and i was talking to them about trying to figure out where the location is (it's at harold washington college downtown- no worries about that, i can find it) and found something really interesting out. apparently the police is full of corrupt evil cops, all working against the common good and overcome by bribery and cheating and drug dealing! holy shit! thank god my father was able to let me know "how it really is". without him i would truly be lost. however, if this career idea does work out it is "at least a step up from prostitution, and there's a little more honor in that". so... if i don't make the cut, should i become a hooker? maybe i could bang a couple corrupt cops and set myself up nice...
but then i can consider that i was told that there is "no reason to believe that [i] would ever be able to hold a job long term" so i should just give up on the job search. it's pointless apparently, because there's 0 confidence in me...
