It was really a nice one. I decided Sammie and I would go to Wild Adventures Saturday. So I called my cousin Tony in Tifton to let him know we would be in the area, just in case they chose the same day to go. He talked me into coming to stay the night to get to spend some time with him, his wife, Sherry, and brand new baby daughter, Angel. We had a great trip down! (Sammie and I have so much fun together. She brings out the best in me.) We got there at 11:30 pm. I didn't get to meet Angel, she was asleep, but Sherry and I stayed up until 5 am talking, about everything. It was cool. (My little night owl didn't go to sleep until 2 am!) Even though I was up all night, I got back up at 9:30 am and hung out with Tony, Sherry, and Angel for a while. Angel definitely lived up to her name. She was so precious, you know, one of those kids that just reach out and grab your heart.Even at two months old, I have to say, she has a way with people. So, Sammie finally got up at 11 am and we got ready to go to Wild Adventures. She was so excited! It was fun, just the two of us. She got to do whatever she wanted, I got to watch her have a good time, which is why I go. I didn't have to worry about anyone else, just us, and it was great!! We rode rides, we saw all the animals, we ate ice cream and popcorn, we played games, then we watched the laser light show and fireworks. It was sooo relaxing. By the time the day was done, we were beat, so we headed back to Tony's house to spend the night again. We got there around midnight, because Sammie couldn't decide what she wanted from the gift shop. (She is just like her mom, can't seem to make up her mind!) Sherry and Angel were snoozing, so Tony and I sat up for a while and talked. It was nice. I haven't gotten to talk to him in quite some time. Sammie crashed out around 1 am (early for her!) I finally went to bed around 3 am. Got up about 9 am and had some coffee. I got to spend alot of time with Sherry and Angel, Tony got called into work. We hung out until around 2 pm and decided to hit the road. We stopped ove at McDonald's and ate and played. The trip home was good too. We got there around 5:30 pm, after a nice, lazy drive. Sammie insisted that we go swimming, and of course we did. Needless to say, I was sorry to see it end. *sigh* Hopefully this weekend, we will go to see Keith and maybe visit some friends in the area. I think we will go to the Museum on our next weekend outing. Sammie loves it!
