Mix and a-Mingle in a Jingling Feet
Sometimes we all have to step out of our social comfort zones for a bit , experience a new crowd, meeting new people. Maybe then it'll quell the cynical side in you that people are superficial or have ulterior motives.
I tried stepping out of the zone last month, which ended in me leaving the party after 1/2 an hour, with about 20 mins talking to Zhen on the phone. i could blame it all on the crowd ( which is partly true) but the fact that i feel less inclined to mingle and meet new people as i grow older.
But on Wednesday, it was testament of how with alcohol, everyone is friends with everyone else.
And sometimes, going to a party where you don't even know the host and his friends may turn into an enjoyable night.
