(no subject)
when i look for journals to read, i like to look at their entry for 9/11/01. it gives an intereting look at people reactions. i did not have a journal at the time, but my entry would have been pretty vanilla. i dont know anyone on the east coast and i just watched it on tv like almost everyone else.
what is weird about my story is AFTER 9/11. that was the day the everything in my life stated to go wrong. in the span of 3 months all of the following happened:
our best friends baby starting having unexplained seizures
our landlords kicked out our duplex neighbors that had lived there 7 years
a good friend got arrested and divorced
anthrax
my mom got breast cancer
mary (my wife) had a car accident
still could not afford a house
war
father had a heart attack
father-in-law arrested for drugs
investigated for stealing from my employer
economy
my work place in folsom closed
we lost a baby actually right before 9/11
and, the doctors punctured my wifes uterus after the miscarriage
good times, ay?
once 2001 was over, almost everthing improved. even loosing my job in 2002 was a blessing. i think i will always connect these unrelated events.
