A grin probably wasn’t the most appropriate reaction, but that was Jaeyi’s very first one. She scrunched her eyes closed, imagining behind her eyelids how tortured T’rev must have been writing that letter. It ought to torment her in return, she knew, but-- well. It was kinda funny.

It’s okay! I mean, we really should know better by now. To give us the benefit of the doubt, I’m going to say we do know better, only we obviously have some sort of problem. Or maybe it’s not a problem, but it’s definitely a difficulty. Anyways, the point I’m trying to make here is that I agree. I really really really really don’t want to have to face my journeyman if something happens that he can’t ignore, and I’d feel really bad if you got in trouble or whatever.
Don’t agonize and don’t worry? I’m okay. So if I’m okay and you’re okay, then we’re okay. I hope you’re okay.
