I'm 10 months clean today.
10 fucking months, hey.
Crazy shit. Beyond all of my wildest dreams.
My Dad's in the hospital right now. He's been really sick, and it got to the point where he couldn't breath. My Mom called an ambulance, and he went to the hospital. Dustin and I went and saw him last night. It was scary. He was hooked up to a bunch of machines, an IV, and he had this huge oxygen mask covering his entire face.
Dustin was super supportive. He gave my Dad a hug, and held his arm as he was saying goodbye.
As we were walking out of the hospital, I squeezed the shit out of Dustin's hand. We got out into the parking lot, and he grabbed me and held me tight as I started to cry. After a few minutes I got it together, and we walked to the Skytrain station.
We went back to my place, and spent a couple of hours together. We layed in bed, surfed around online, and then watched a bit of tv. After, we had sex, cuddled for awhile, and then at about 1am he called for a cab, and went home.
Dustin left this morning to go out to Mission and work for about 5 days. He'll be getting about $100-$120 bucks a day. He already owes Jeff $200, so he'll be bringing home between $300-$400, depending on how generous Jeff feels!
They're out working construction on several different cabins on the lake there. Dustin's going to be coming home Wednesday night, and I might be heading back up there with him early Thursday morning. It would be super nice. Just me, him, and Jeff with a cabin to ourselves. Of course Dustin would be working all day, so I would have to occupy myself, but we would have the evenings together.
This afternoon I am going to meet up with my Mum for a little bit. We might grab a bite to eat, and then go see my Dad. After, I am going to meet Kayla for coffee. and then come home to have dinner with Michael and Gail for once! And then off to the meeting.
Tomorrow I am going to meet up with Amanda and see her new kitty! I haven't seen her in a long time, so I am pretty stoked about that! Who knows what we'll get up to. We have a lot of catching up to do, that's for sure! And then I have work in the evening.
Wednesday I have Lindsey's dinner with everybody to celebrate her 3 years, and then the meeting with Aimee to watch Linds take her clean time.
Thursday I have to work earlier on in the afternoon, and then meet Aimee for coffee and then hit up the meeting! That is if I'm not going to be up at the cabin with Dustin.
Busy. Busy. Busy. That's how I like it.
