(no subject)
This weekend was fairly decent. The last couple of weekends have been really decent, actually! Especially the long weekend.
It's been nice and sunny lately. Been totally hitting up the beach, and spending a lot of time outside.
Friday night I rearranged my entire room. It looks so much better now! I love it, but my back is totally killing me!
On Saturday I went to the Hyack Parade with my parents, and my youngest nephew, Ryan. Afterwards, I met up with Kayla, and spent the day with her Mom, and other family. We drove out to Abbotsford, and dropped her younger sister off at a birthday party, and then went to her Mom's friends' place for a little while. Kayla and I drove her Mom's car a little bit for some practice. Then we went to pick up her sister, and drove into Mission to go to her Grandma's house for a BBQ.
We all rushed back to New West to go to the meeting, because it was Verdann's 1yr cake! I pretty much came home right afterwards, and then my boyfriend came over. Dustin stayed until about 2:30 in the morning, and then took a taxi home.
Today, I slept until about 1pm, and then got up, and was out of the house by 2pm. I went for coffee with my Dad, and then we went out to Lougheed Mall so I could get some new nose rings. We stopped off, and I saw my Mum for a few minutes, and then my Dad drove me home. I went to work around 5pm. Aimee came by my work, and waited for me until I was done, because we were going to the meeting together. It was a really small meeting tonight, because it was Brett's 1yr cake at another local meeting.
My foster Dad, Michael got to come over this weekend. He's been in the hospital since they got back from their vacation. He has spinal meningitis, and some kind of "infectious disease."
He's starting to get better, and is hopefully going to be able to come home in the next week, or so. He has lost about 30 pounds, and he's got a beard now. I'm really happy that he's getting better - I've been really worried about him.
Anyways, Dustin just left a little while ago. It's late. I have school tomorrow. I need sleep!
Dude - I'll be 8 months clean on Wednesday!
