originally uploaded by pwr27. This Copper Beech tree is one of my favourite trees ... I took this photo on the front lawn of my childhood home, on the day it was sold. I noticed that the leaves that don't receive direct sunlight are more green ... the more sun the leaf is exposed to, the richer & brighter the copper colour.
