RANT
So I'm a smart, nearly-degreed, witty, funny, not-incredibly-ugly girl. Why can't I get even a simple waitressing job??? Do you realize that here they have open calls where you need to bring headshots for some of the better wait positions? I went to an open call for barback--not even bartending, mind you--yesterday and found out that most of the 100 people had been there for about three hours waiting for an interview. For two open positions. Two.
Okay, so maybe it doesn't help that I don't shower, am mildly depressed and am so desperate I will donate my eggs...but still.
