In plain sight
Day 2 of post-Lasik vision finds me still seeing better. I had a follow-up this morning and was told I had 20/20 sight in one eye and 20/25 in the other. Pretty awesome. Despite this, everything has kind of a slight blurring, which I guess is because of residual swelling. I also have these totally scary red patches in parts of my eyeballs that kind of make me look I'm a zombie and/or have pink eye. I was a bit dismayed to learn that this is bruising from the procedure and may take--ack--two to four weeks to clear up. I'm not sure how my vanity's going to handle this. My instinct is to hide out in the condo for a while, but it looks like life will drive me out for semi-necessary things, like, food.
Anyway, enough about me. No, wait. One more thing. Vampire Academy got mentioned in an article about Stephenie Meyer. Cool, to say the least. Thanks for sending it, Amber!
Okay, now on to other stuff--like the contest. The items I own are: Banana Boat Sunscreen, Natural Vitamins (not Centrum), Tylenol, Opti-Free Contact Solution, and (now obsolete) Acuvue contacts.
