Crazy Painter

I have been on a painting streak lately. It's so relaxing. My parents and I went to Home Depot over the weekend and bought three cans of paint. I spent half a day Saturday giving out lamp post a fresh coat of paint and tomorrow I'm going to repaint the entire front door, plus the outer screen door. First I have to scrape all of the old paint off. The whole thing will probably take most of the day. Right now the front door is black and the three squares in the middle are white. I'm going to give it a fresh coat of black and then make the squares a cheery yellow instead of white. I think it will match the porch better, plus it will really pop. After the door, my parents and I are going to paint the ceiling in the basement. We took off the old ceiling and now there is just exposed wood beams. We're going to paint them all different colors. I'm very excited. Now I look at everything in terms of paint- I also want to redo the garage, but my mom told me to wait until next summer.

I may be a little obsessed with paint right now......
