I am a busy bee
Today, I:
* Applied to Grand Rapids Community College
* Wrote out my transcript request forms for Macomb, GVSU, Ferris, and my high school.
* Completed my FAFSA (even though I won't be eligible for aid)
* Printed out program plan info for GRCC and GVSU
* Researched which First Aid/CPR courses I'm going to need
* Researched which vaccinations and health care requirements I'm going to need
* Applied to MANY online job postings
* Filled out our DHS application forms
* Filled out 3 paper job applications
* Washed many dishes
And I have even more things to do tomorrow... *sigh*
Last night was VERY unpleasant with the invasion of two bats, one after another. One ran into the ceiling fan, which killed it instantly and sent it flying onto the ledge in the loft. The second, Matt tried to bat down out of the air with the lid off of a plastic bin so he could toss a towel over it, but hit it a bit too hard (as though with a Louisville-fucking-slugger), sent it flying into the wall, and killed it, too. Oops.
I spent a miserable night with the covers over my head, jumping at small noises. Seriously, I'm not actually scared of bats, I normally think they're cool. But NOBODY is going to want one swooping around their head when they're trying to sleep. It's creepy as hell to wake up to the sound of wings in the blackness.
