Goodbye (all hopes for) Equality
People are so narrow minded.
As you all must know by now, the marriage ban passed which just proves that people are unable to think outside of their own confined worlds to think about the good of EVERYONE and not just themselves.
Do you think GOD would want people to be shunned just because they want to love someone just like eveyone else does, but they just love people in a different fashion? I don't care what the Bible says because the Bible is so old, and has been revised so many times that it will be really difficult for anyone to convince me that it is a reliable source of information.
It just makes me sick that people can actually act superior to such an extent that they would deny other people the right to happiness. With the exception of criminals, everyone should be allowed to be happy. Love is not a crime.
I had faith that people in such an advanced society would be able to set aside their differences and do what is right, but clearly I have too much faith in humanity.
