(no subject)
i realize that my lj is really outdated. honestly, i'd absolutely love to get a new layout and begin using this website again because no one reads here. i don't have to worry about private entries and friends only entries because not even friends (minus josh & brad) will read this.
i don't really want to talk about school so i'm not.
my sister is doing horribly in math this year and it might possibly be because the school district is running off pretty much all the good teachers. no, i'm not just saying this because my mom was forced to resign, but mrs. williams, mrs. thomas, as well as the entire science department at the middle school are gone. the teachers that gave me an amazing background for highschool are no longer around. kacey was looking forward to having mrs. williams ever since i had her 6 years ago. it's ridiculous.
so, my mom is pretty angry that kacey is making 40's on tests. come to find out, the teacher is putting negative exponent problems on the test. i do believe that most of our juniors at the great hargrave highschool don't even know what exponents are. also, it is required within the district to allow the student to retake the test for a 70, and for some reason that code doesn't apply to this class. idk. stupid.
my car is going in the shop tomorrow. something's wrong with the transmission. that's a good car. it better just be something minor. or else.
alright. beau is finding things to chew up. my mom's lost about 6 pairs of shoes now, along with random objects that are up on counters that end up on the floor at the end of the day. so odd though. how can a dog get something off of a night stand or counter and get it down to the floor. he's got to have an accomplice: amelia.
we had spaghetti and meatballs for dinner.
